Features

• S-Monovette® Lithium, Sodium or Ammonium Heparin LH, NH, AH contain lithium, sodium or ammonium heparin as an anticoagulant for plasma collection. The plastic granules coated with lithium, sodium or ammonium heparin (generally 16 I.U. heparin/ml blood) form a layer between the blood cells and the plasma during centrifugation. In the S-Monovette® Lithium Heparin with heparin in liquid form (generally 19 I.U. heparin/ml blood), the lithium heparin is in spray dose form.
• In addition to the plastic granules, Lithium Heparin Gel S-Monovettes contain a polymer-based gel that forms a stable separating layer between the blood cells and the plasma during centrifugation on account of its density and serves as a barrier during sample transportation and storage.
